Embark on a remarkable 8-day journey of cinematic exploration that goes beyond just viewing internationally acclaimed cinema. Engage in profound discussions with fellow jurors and experts, vote for your favourite films, and meet thought leaders who are leading positive changes in society through their work. Ajyal is not only about appreciating global creativity but also about self-expression, teamwork, improving critical thinking, and cultivating leadership skills. All while making lasting new friendships in a fun environment!

As an Ayal Juror, you will:
● Experience an array of short and feature-length films from around the world.
● Vote to determine the winners of the Ajyal Competition.
● Interact with international filmmakers and industry leaders.
● Participate in masterclasses & workshops that explore the nuances of filmmaking and creative expression.


Our Ajyal Jury is split into three categories by age:

Mohaq (New Moon):
Our youngest jurors, ages 8 to 12, will engage with a mix of thoughtful short films and four feature films.

Hilal (Crescent Moon):
Jurors aged 13 to 17 will experience four compelling feature films and a selection of meaningful shorts.

Bader (Full Moon):
Our programme for jurors aged 18 to 25 features four thought-provoking features and a variety of powerful short films.
